A new voluntary certification and mark of excellence proposed by the Carbon Trust that enables organisations to demonstrate their success in cutting their carbon footprint could be a great benchmark. The standard targets any organisations looking to work proactively with their supply chains to factor improvements in sustainability across the whole value chain.
‘The Carbon Trust Standard for Supply Chain’ will be launched on 30th September 2015 in London. The supporting event will provide details on the development of the standard, its assessment methodology and benefits of the benchmark to those that choose to certify.
