Appligo use BrightCloud hosting to develop app to aid the fight against Coronavirus

We’ve recently heard the great news that one of our application hosting customers, a software start-up called Appligo, have helped Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust launch a custom app to manage critical PPE stock during the Coronavirus pandemic. Following this success, Appligo will be taking a further two Trusts live with their PPE solution next week.
Appligo are a huge success story of BrightCloud’s independent software vendor (ISV) incubator programme. With over 30 years combined experience in the software industry, Appligo was founded in 2017 with a mission to empower businesses and organisations with the tools to solve operational problems themselves, as the experts in their own field. However they needed somewhere to develop their next-generation platform, Agileware, which was designed as an alternative to single-use systems and workarounds.
BrightCloud and Appligo started working together in early 2018 after being introduced by an ISV partner that BrightCloud had helped with the SaaS delivery of a previously on-premises application. Under the BrightCloud ISV incubator programme, we’ve acted as the infrastructure and security division for Appligo, assisting with the design of the infrastructure which includes the use of Citrix ADCs and multiple security zones to ensure maximum performance and security. BrightCloud also facilitated load testing of the application so that Appligo could build cost models prior to going to market. Our hosting packages offer so much more than standard hosting providers, and I’m really proud that we are giving a platform for businesses like Appligo to thrive.

Our incubator programme includes free development, test and demo resources, along with technical help on secure architecture. We also help our incubator customers load test their applications when they are ready to do so.
